Trump Calls Liz Cheney a ‘Low IQ War Hawk’ After Appearance in Support of Harris
Donald Trump has launched a scathing attack on former Congresswoman Liz Cheney, labeling her a “low IQ war hawk” after she appeared in support of Vice President Kamala Harris. This backlash follows Cheney’s light-hearted jab at Trump’s “spray-tan” routine during an event in Wisconsin.
Cheney, who has endorsed Harris, made her comments at a rally in Ripon, Wisconsin, where she highlighted her Republican background and criticized Trump’s actions, including his role in the January 6, 2021, insurrection. Trump responded by accusing Cheney of being part of the January 6 Unselect Committee and of illegally destroying and deleting documents and information.
In his Truth Social post, Trump also targeted Cheney’s father, Dick Cheney, accusing him of leading the country into a disastrous Middle East conflict. Trump described the Cheneys as a “pathetic couple” suffering from “Trump Derangement Syndrome” and wished them “good luck”.
This ongoing conflict between Trump and Cheney reflects the deepening divisions within the Republican Party, with Cheney’s support for Harris drawing significant backlash from Trump and his supporters.
