Tesla Recalls 27,000 Cybertrucks Due to Rearview Camera Issue
Tesla is recalling more than 27,000 Cybertrucks due to a rearview camera issue that delays the image being displayed on the dashboard. The recall is the fifth for the Cybertruck since its release in November 2023. The problem occurs when the rearview camera image may not activate immediately after shifting into reverse, potentially impairing driver visibility and increasing the risk of accidents. Tesla has released a free software upgrade to address the issue, and owner notification letters are expected to be mailed on November 25, 2024.
