Six Killed in Tel Aviv Shooting – Just Moments Before Missile Attack
At least six people were killed and seven others injured in a shooting incident in Tel Aviv, Israel, on October 1, 2024. The attack occurred just moments before Iran launched a barrage of missiles against Israel.
The Israeli Police suspect terror as a motive in the incident and have identified two Palestinian men from Hebron as the alleged shooters. Both of the attackers were killed by security forces.
The shooting took place on Yerushalayim Street in Tel Aviv, with the attackers reportedly opening fire on pedestrians and then continuing their assault on foot. The incident led to a significant police presence and extensive searches for any additional threats.
The missile attack by Iran involved approximately 180 missiles launched at multiple targets in Israel, with most of the missiles intercepted. However, several hits were identified, and the damage is being assessed.
