Key Pennsylvania Region Sees ‘Waitlist’ for Trump Signs; Lawmaker Says Voters Ready to Reverse Dem Policies

Lehigh County Republican State Sen. Jarrett Coleman and Northampton County GOP leaders Andrew Azan III and Tom Carroll spoke to Fox News Digital about their efforts in the region. They reported a high level of excitement and motivation among voters, with many expressing concerns over the economy, border, and community safety. Despite the Lehigh Valley having a “blue” urban core, many residents are turning to Republican candidates due to these issues.

Coleman noted that the economy, border, and community safety are top concerns for those in the Lehigh Valley. He also mentioned that even some traditionally Democratic voters are casting ballots for GOP candidates. The Republican Party has been actively engaging with local residents, including through events like the Schnecksville Fair and Allentown Puerto Rican Day Parade. The party’s presence is ubiquitous, with literature on candidates and direct communication with voters.

In neighboring Northampton County, home to Bethlehem, Easton, and smaller cities like Nazareth and Wind Gap, conservatives are similarly active. Andrew Azan III, a board member of the Northampton County Republican Committee, reported a “waitlist” for Trump-Vance signs in his county. This is seen as a positive sign, indicating strong support for the Republican nominee. The party has adjusted its messaging to meet the changing diversity of the Lehigh Valley while maintaining its principles.

Tom Carroll, a member of the Lehigh Valley Tea Party, emphasized that locals are more receptive to the conservative platform than ever before. He noted that voters are educated and concerned about the potential economic impacts of policies like those proposed by Biden and Kamala Harris, such as open borders and tax policies like unrealized capital gains. Carroll believes that these concerns will drive voter turnout in favor of Republican candidates.
