Israeli Official Warns ‘Everything is on the Table’ as IDF Prepares Response to Iranian Missile Attack
Israeli Defense Minister Yoav Gallant issued a stern warning to Iranian officials, stating that “everything is on the table” in terms of Israel’s response to Iran’s recent missile attack. This warning comes amid the escalating conflict in the Middle East, following Iran’s launch of 181 ballistic missiles at Israeli military installations on October 1.
Gallant emphasized that Israel will respond to the attack in the manner and at the time of its choosing. This includes potentially striking Iranian nuclear sites, as Israel seeks to defend its sovereignty and citizens against what it perceives as Iranian aggression.
The Israeli military has been actively preparing for potential further actions from Iran, with senior officials underscoring the seriousness of the situation. The IDF has issued a stern warning that Iran’s actions will be met with a severe response, and that any fire from Iran will not go unanswered.
The U.S. has also weighed in, warning Iran of “serious consequences” should it choose to escalate its attacks. The Pentagon has announced that Secretary of Defense Lloyd J. Austin III will host Israeli Defense Minister Yoav Gallant at the Pentagon on October 9 to discuss ongoing Middle East security developments.
