Hezbollah Claims to Have Repelled Israeli Incursion in Southern Lebanon, Clashes Ongoing
Hezbollah announced on Saturday that it successfully repelled an Israeli incursion near Adaisseh in southern Lebanon, with ongoing clashes continuing. The militant organization stated that Israeli ground troops initially attempted to advance the town at 1100 p.m. on Friday. “Our fighters from the Islamic Resistance engaged them, resulting in a significant explosion within the advancing forces, compelling them to retreat with casualties,” Hezbollah reported. A subsequent statement indicated that Israeli forces attempted to advance again at 150 a.m., and the clashes are still in progress.
