The CBS News/YouGov poll indicates that Harris is at 51 percent, while Trump trails at 48 percent among likely voters, down from a four-point lead for Harris noted in the previous month.
Despite these tightening numbers, both candidates have intensified their campaign efforts in crucial battleground states. Harris hosted an event in North Carolina, while Trump rallied in Arizona, focusing on issues like government response to hurricanes and border security.
The ‘Harris honeymoon’ has ended, and the presidential race is locked in a tie with just over three weeks to go before the November 5 election, according to polling from multiple news networks. The NBC News poll, conducted from October 4-8, shows that Harris gets support from 48 percent of registered voters, while Trump gets an identical 48 percent.
