Tom Phillips, a fugitive father, has been seen with his three children, Jayda (11), Maverick (9), and Ember (8), in the New Zealand wilderness. The family was last spotted on October 7, 2024, walking in camouflage gear near their former town of Marokopa.
The children’s mother, Catherine, expressed relief and happiness that her children are alive, despite her previous concerns about their safety and well-being. She has accused Tom Phillips of child endangerment and neglect, highlighting Ember’s asthmatic condition and the need for medical care.
New Zealand Police have confirmed the sighting and are assessing the information to determine their next steps. The public has been warned not to approach Tom Phillips, who is wanted for various charges including an alleged armed robbery in September 2023.
