Adult Film Stars Announce $100,000 Ad Campaign Warning Project 2025

A group of 17 adult film stars has launched a $100,000 ad campaign on porn sites to warn users about Project 2025, a right-wing initiative that aims to ban pornography and imprison those who produce it. The campaign, titled “Hands Off My Porn,” will run in key swing states including Pennsylvania, Michigan, Wisconsin, North Carolina, Georgia, Arizona, and Nevada.

The ads aim to alert viewers, particularly younger men who are the primary consumers of adult content, about the potential repercussions of Project 2025. According to the Survey Center on American Life, 44% of men aged 18-29 and 57% of men aged 30-49 reported watching porn in the past month.

The campaign’s website criticizes Project 2025, stating that it would infringe on the rights of adult film actors and their fans, and that it is a severe threat to the industry. The initiative also encourages viewers to register to vote and contribute to the political action committee Artists United for Change.

Project 2025, proposed by the Heritage Foundation, has been endorsed by over 100 conservative organizations and involves 140 Trump appointees. Despite Trump’s claims of ignorance about the project, several of his associates are involved in its creation.
