Biden Says He and Kamala Harris Are ‘Singing from the Same Song Sheet’ — as She Tries Distancing Herself
President Joe Biden recently appeared at an impromptu White House press briefing, where he emphasized his close working relationship with Vice President Kamala Harris. Despite Harris’s efforts to distance herself from the Biden administration’s policies, Biden maintained that they are “singing from the same song sheet.”
Biden stated, “We’re singing from the same song sheet. She helped pass all the laws that are being employed now. She was a major player in everything we’ve done.” He also noted that her staff is interlocked with his in terms of all the administration’s activities.
This statement comes as Harris has been attempting to create some daylight between herself and Biden, particularly on issues like “Bidenomics,” inflation, and the border crisis. However, Biden’s comments suggest a continued alignment between the two leaders.
