Chad ‘Ochocinco’ Johnson and James Harrison Set to Fight in Exhibition MMA Bout
Former NFL stars Chad ‘Ochocinco’ Johnson and James Harrison are scheduled to fight in an MMA exhibition bout in New Orleans ahead of the Super Bowl. Johnson initially stated the fight would consist of three rounds, but Harrison clarified it would span five rounds. The two have already begun trading playful insults, with Johnson asserting, “I’m going to beat your a** in round 1,” and Harrison responding, “You won’t be able to stand once I finish with you”. This fight will not mark Johnson’s first venture into combat sports, as he previously participated in an exhibition bout with mixed martial artist and boxer Brian Maxwell in 2021. The event is set to take place before Super Bowl LIX in February 2025.
