In Gaza, Palestinian media and officials reported that over 70 individuals lost their lives due to Israeli attacks on Wednesday, which included strikes on a school and an orphanage housing displaced persons. The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) announced the deaths of eight soldiers during ground operations in southern Lebanon. Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu recorded a video offering condolences to the families of the fallen soldiers.
The caretaker minister, Asser Y, indicated that the number of displaced persons in Lebanon has surpassed 1.2 million. President Joe Biden stated on Wednesday that he would not endorse an Israeli assault on Iranian nuclear facilities, aiming to moderate Israel’s reaction to Iran’s missile strike on Tuesday and manage the rapidly intensifying regional conflict.
