IDF Releases Footage Showing Underground Tunnels in Lebanon

The Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) has released footage showing special forces dismantling a Hezbollah tunnel network in southern Lebanon. This comes as the US warned of an imminent ballistic missile attack by Iran on Israel.

The IDF has been conducting cross-border raids inside Lebanon since the start of the war, with special forces uncovering and destroying underground infrastructure, striking thousands of targets, and dismantling advanced weaponry of Iranian origin. The operations have been extensive, with over 70 operations in southern Lebanon over the last year, aimed at preventing Hezbollah from carrying out another attack like the one on October 7.

The footage shows troops entering Hezbollah tunnel networks, uncovering weapons caches, and destroying operational posts and storage facilities. The IDF has also collected valuable intelligence during these operations.

Lebanon’s Prime Minister has warned that the latest escalation of Israel’s ground invasion means the country is in one of the most dangerous phases in its history. Israel has insisted that its ground assault is only targeting Hezbollah strongholds that threaten Israeli communities.
