At least 130 fatalities have been reported following Hurricane Helene’s impact on the Southeast region. In Asheville, North Carolina, fallen trees and power lines are obstructing major thoroughfares, hindering the delivery of essential supplies to residents. Numerous individuals are still unaccounted for. The governor has indicated that an official count of those missing throughout the state has not yet been established.
