Vice President Kamala Harris has not held a formal press conference since becoming the presumptive and now official Democratic nominee for president, marking 86 days without such an event.
However, she has been actively engaging in various interviews and campaign events. Recently, she participated in a tense interview with Fox News anchor Bret Baier, where she was pressed on immigration policy and her differences with President Biden.
In the interview, Harris emphasized that her presidency would not be a continuation of Biden’s, highlighting her own life experiences and professional background as key factors in her leadership approach.
She also campaigned in Pennsylvania, a battleground state, with a coalition of Republicans who have endorsed her, aiming to court disaffected Republicans and emphasize her commitment to democratic ideals and the Constitution.
